While it is important to keep up with world events,
especially the events taking place in our own country, we still have to minimize
the bad news intake. It really always
comes back to striking a balance. As we move forward in life, working on being
the best person we can be, it’s important to refuel on the positive
regularly. Whatever you do to find
peace, do that. If you pray, if you
meditate, walk or listen to relaxing music, do that regularly. I am a strong believer that you could never
pray enough, especially in the day and age in which we live. You can never meditate or do whatever moves
you forward enough. I read in the news today
that there was another school shooting and people were injured. Yet another disturbing situation. Those of us who have
a sound mind, free of psychosis and hatred, must be the stabilizing factor in
our world. We are lights in the
darkness. We have a responsibility to make
sound decisions and we must act expeditiously.
We can’t allow people or events to drag us into the muddy
quagmire every day. Although there are
people who have a mansion on Quagmire Lane, we say no thank you, we are not a
fan and Quagmire lane will not be our permanent address. We won’t live there today – we won’t live
there ever! In the midst of the storm find your calm. Remember what your core focus is.
Going back to your core focus will keep you grounded. It will balance you. What is it that keeps you encouraged, what
gives you hope for a better tomorrow – focus on that. What can you do? Like anything else, we are
either part of the problem or part of the solution. Which part will you be? Now that you figured that out, the rest is
easy - start doing what helps your cause. Positive energy must win out on negative
energy, just as good must always conquer evil.
I am persuaded that we are able.
Do not be confused about your direction or destination,
regardless of how many bumps may be on the road on your way. Stay focused Diva. Educate yourself on matters that are
important and make sound, decisions. Be prepared to act. But above all, Stand!
