Raising children is not for the weak at heart.  We love them.  They do the cutest things but when it’s time to discipline and set limits, get ready.  Let’s say they won’t necessarily cooperate each time.  Your adorable little toddler will cry and put up a fight, but at the end of the day, they must learn rules and be placed on a schedule.  It may seem to most people that children hate being told what they can and cannot do.  But believe it or not, even though they resist, it is good for them, and they absolutely want it and need it.

So the next time your toddler wants to stay up until 11:00 with you, don’t let it happen.  Stick to their routine and get that cute little child in bed at 8:00.  They need their beauty rest and so do you.

Have you hugged a diva today?  Take the opportunity to be supportive of the women in your life.  I think sometimes because we are all so busy raising children and working on our careers, we forget that our sisters need our support.  You never know what someone is going through.  Give that girl a call, make plans for brunch or shopping.  Use the opportunity to catch up a little.  You can reach out on Facebook or sent a sweet email with an updated pic. 

Whatever you do, stay in touch and let that Diva know that you were thinking of her.  Women supporting women is so important, we understand each other and can be that rock our best friend needs.  Girl power=)
