It saddens and sickens me to hear that another African American man was shot in the back by a white police officer. How many people must be murdered before we say enough is enough!    On September 16, 2016, a 40 year old man named Mr. Crutcher was assassinated by a police officer in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  How do you go from responding to a stalled vehicle to shooting this man with his back towards you and hand in the air.  Now I see in the news that he had drugs in his car, which if true, I certainly don't condone drug use. But if he broke the law that way, death is not the legal punishment.  And who knows, during investigations of similar police crimes, drugs and weapons have been planted on victims before to justify their murder.  There was no gun found on him or in his vehicle.  This senseless killing is happening way too often.  Do citizens need to fear for their life if their car stalls or if they are stopped for a traffic violation?  What is going on in America, and how long will it continue?

It’s not okay to kill unarmed citizens of this country or any other country for that matter.  Whether you wear a police uniform or not, if you kill someone who posed no threat to you, you are a murderer and should be punished for your crime to the fullest extent of the law.  How can murder of anyone ever be okay? These men are fathers, sons, brothers, husbands and we can’t keep killing them because of the color of their skin - who does that.  You don’t have to be African American to see the injustice is these acts.  Every rational human being should be disgusted.

Are we no longer a civilized nation?  The United States is not a third world country.   It’s not okay to hunt men as if they were animals.  I’m certain that good police officers don’t appreciate being grouped with thugs and murders who are wearing the same uniform as they are.

The job of a police officer is to serve and protect, not kill the innocent.  Diva I truly hope that this stops and hopefully we will be able to circumvent the next possible civil war in the United States. At that point, we will no longer have the luxury of acting like this do not affect us, it will affect every single one of us.  The way things are going in America, we don't have to worry about terrorists, we are killing our own people ourselves.
