It's all about you girl. That's right, I wrote a book about Diva's and how we live with fabulosity, honey. Living a purposeful, happy life takes work. But isn't that what we do. Diva Get Your Life is currently in Barnes & Nobles. It's coming to Amazon and 12 other bookstores including internationally. Get your copy today. It's amazing - if I do say so myself.

Have you ever met someone who was so nice you seemed to vibe, and then you feel a sense of jealousy from them? You’re not sure because you’re always supportive of each other. Why would they be jealous of you? If this happens with a friend, you can always end the friendship. Well, what if that person is a family member? A person you loved and believed they loved you. How confusing is this notion? It gets worse; the person wants to be you, they want your life. Scared yet? You should be. Any person that wants everything you have, your husband your children your life, is an empty person who is not happy with their life.
The level of toxicity can be staggering as they try to sabotage you with every step they take. Speaking poorly about you to your family and friends, as they try to get closer to your immediate family, it can be all so annoying. The thing to remember is you can’t be the scapegoat for anyone's failure to have the life of their dreams. It is their responsibility to do what they need to do, to be happy for their whole life. It’s really a psychological joke, for that person to after you have done your life’s work, think they can come along and steal it. This type of person gives meaning to two sayings, “Get your (own) life” and “Bye Felicia.”
Although you may understand the issue and try to redirect them to work on herself, she may choose not to. What is important to know is that you can’t save anyone. No matter how much you love your family members, everybody has the responsibility of building their own life. If they are delusional, that certainly won’t fix anything.
It’s important to keep a safe distance from people who are toxic even if they are in your family. Keep building the life of your dreams. It’s your life f-o-r-e-v-e-rrrrrrrr. Live well!

Do yourself a favor and don’t marry a loser. There are times when you can compromise. You can accept certain behaviors and beliefs
that are not necessarily your own. But,
when you marry someone who is your polar opposite you are signing on for more
than you know. There are people out
there that have decided to make “How low can you go” their anthem. At some point you will have to decide, do you
want to lower your standards so low to get a spouse that you can no longer
recognize yourself. What is your
happiness worth to you, hopefully, more
than “I do.”
Marry someone who will love you for you. Who will
respect, honor and cherish you?
Marry someone who will live the rest of his life making sure that you
are happy as you do the same for him.
You need someone who is consistently honest with who he is. This is
not the time to appreciate the abilities of a chameleon. The last thing you
want to do is wake up to find out; you
have been living with a stranger. Diva, when it comes
to choosing a life partner, choose carefully,
choose well. Give
your marriage the best chance of being a happy, healthy long lasting
relationship. Marry someone that doesn’t
play games out the gate. If he has no class before the marriage, there is a
strong chance, he won’t have any after it. The old folks use to say don’t write a check
that your behind can’t cash.

It’s summertime, and there are
so many places to go, where shall I start.
If you haven’t been to Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey, you need to go and check it out. It’s a beautiful mix of a variety of art, beautiful sculptures
and gardens, just amazing. Don’t overlook
the Big Apple baby. A horse ride through
the central park is still amazing. Broadway shows this summer is absolutely fabulous. Shows like Aladdin, Frozen and Once on the
Island will certainly put a smile on your face.
If you live in Philadelphia, you already know. I recommend the Spirit of Philadelphia dinner
cruise, but there are shows, flea markets and festivals in all three states.
Whatever you do, get out of the house and enjoy the best
that these states have to offer. Fresh
air and fun. Who could ask for anything more? Hey, why not state hop. Road trip….

Why living la Vida loga is not necessarily the best idea. The crazy life doesn’t really work for Divas. Why you ask? Because, Divas operate with a plan. Living like a nut is not what we do. If you go through life without a plan, chances are, you won’t be very successful. Life demands attention. You would get through it better if you mapped it out. Whether you’re in school or making your way up the corporate ladder. You stand a chance to win with a plan. Without one well, it’s a crapshoot.
So next time you think about living on the edge without a plan, remember these words of wisdom. The edge is no place to walk or live. It’s dangerous, stay in the middle of the road. Your future self will thank you for caring enough about it to plan.

What do you do when you want something so bad, and it always seems just shortly out of your
reach. I’ll tell you what you do; you keep reaching. Giving up is not what Diva’s do honey- ever. Just know, we keep finding new ways to get a
little closer to the goal. Maybe a small
shift or a move to the side. Something,
anything but quit. Why because quitting means you will never
reach the goal. It’s not in our vocabulary at least not as it pertains to our
goals.
What we will do is regroup and think about what we need to
do differently, what can we do to change our outcome. What do we need, what strategy, what plan? As long as there is a sun in the sky, we know
that we can and will get there, the question is not will we get there, the
question is when. And if you know
anything about a Diva, it won’t be long; you
can set your clock by us. We are always
on time, and we don’t waste it. Just
when you think, she won’t make it, she wins.
Smooches.

Summer is coming, and we should make every effort to spend as much time in the great outdoors as we can. Why? Because we spend most of the winter indoors and this is a wonderful opportunity to take in some fresh air – something that our bodies need to stay healthy and strong. Also, vitamin D from the sun is a great idea as well. Don’t forget to put on sunscreen. I’m going to list a few fun things you can do outdoors. Get ready to get out of dodge Divas.
Go for a walk in your neighborhood
Day trip, take off. It doesn’t matter where?
Learn how to play tennis
Learn how to ride a horse, horseback riding can be fun.
Read in the park
Go for a walk on the beach
Go on a bike ride
Take a tour bus ride of your city.
Go on a local 4-hour cruise.
Go on a nature walk and take pictures
Go to a park ‘n ride movie
Go to a concert in the park
Go to the beach or your neighborhood pool
Visit your local outdoor fruit and vegetable market
Walk through a flea market
Go bird or butterfly watching at your local Botanical Garden
If you give it some thought, I’m sure you will find other ways to enjoy the outdoors. Make a list, check it twice and check off this wonderful to do list after you have done each thing. Soak up the sun and have some fun. Smooches.
